Álbum

Album 2008 12 Songs. Monstre Cosmic Monade. French Pop. More than Monade's other albums, Monstre Cosmic's songs boast clean melodic arcs that layer over each other, building with an almost architectural precision and beauty. Etoile is a study in contrasts, balancing bittersweet vocal melodies with warm, comforting basslines and shimmering keyboards, while Lost Language's sleek yet elaborate strings and vibes wouldn't sound out of place on a Stereolab album. Listen free to Monade Monstre Cosmic Noir-Noir, Étoile and more. 12 tracks 57:01. Sadler mostly relies on Monade mainstay keyboardist and guitarist Nicolas Etienne and Stereolab multi-instrumentalist Joe Watson to orchestrate with help from the Bordeaux Conservatoire and color this Technicolor world that isnt far removed from the basic Stereolab floor plan. Etoile, Elle Topo and Messe Joyeuse are highlights. Monstre Cosmic, 2008. Étoile, 04:59. Lost Language, 06:11. See which songs from which albums Monade played during the Monstre Cosmic tour. Monade Albums by tour: Monstre Monstre cosmic Review. Released 2008. Monade are a side project for Sterolab's singer, Laetitia Sadier, and originally involved Pram's Rosie Cuckston who is no longer present. Monstre Cosmic is their third release. Based in Bordeaux, the band now consist of bassist Marie Merlet, keyboardguitarist Nicolas Etienne and drummer David Loquier and of the 10 tracks here they are responsible for 6. The rest are a result of a ''spontaneous collaboration'' with a group of musician friends of Sadier's from Toulouse. Monstre Cosmic, Monade's third release is the band's best. Founded by Laetitia Saider of Stereolab, Monade is often compared to the more famous Groop. Yet, this is NOT Stereolab-lite. Monade is an entirely different group with an engaging sound of its own. Rather than being limited to the lyrics as in Stereolab, here Laetitia Saider sets the tone for the music as well, and the result is beautiful. Monstre Cosmic is all at once entertaining, thought provoking, and emotional. The recording and mixing is well done, too. This album really is art to be experienced-not just looked at. Monstre Cosmic. This album is rated in the top 19 of all albums on . Monstre Cosmic by Monade Year: 2008 Release date: 2008-02-18 Overall rank: 0th. Average Rating: 75100 from 2 votes
